Showtime #2 – Beyond The Border

My project on the Antonine Wall, called ‘Edge of an Empire’, is now on show as part of the Document Scotland exhibition ‘Beyond The Border’, at Impressions Gallery, Bradford, until Sept 27th.

On 3rd July we held an opening party at the Gallery, which was well attended by friends new and old, as well as family. Thank you all for coming! The evening was kindly sponsored by Tunnocks who supplied 300 of their famous Scottish chocolate wafer biscuits.

Our show was opened by Anne McNeill of Impressions Gallery, with an added great touch that Annie Lyden, International Curator of Photography at the National Galleries of Scotland, journeyed down from Edinburgh to also say a few words and to discuss the work and open the show. Thank you both Anne and Annie!

Below are a few images of the show and the opening day festivities.

The show runs until September 27th.
