A little tear sheet for you, from this week’s Der Spiegel Magazine. I spent a few days in the 3rd division with Ranger FC, who have ended up there not by bad results on the pitch but by bad results in the boardroom, and by years of financial mismanagement by previous owner/s.
This was a great little job, off to the training with Ranger, interviews with manager Ally McCoist and then with the new owner Charles Green, followed by a tour of Ibrox stadium, and then down to Berwick-Upon-Tweed for the Rangers game against Berwick Rangers. All in all a very enjoyable reportage but only 2 images make it into the magazine this week. I believe their iPad version of the story may have extra images as a slideshow.
There’ll be more to come in the following weeks from me and football, stay tuned…

Sounds like a fun job, especially if you have a passion for the team.
All best Damon
