So, below we have Option3 of the intial three spreads I was sent by Transit Magazine to comment upon, discuss and choose from. (Options 1 and 2 were on my previous blog posts).
I quite liked this option. It was clean, neat, not jigsaw-like, and the title was bold. But my preference was still for Option1 with it’s black pages.
And as mentioned for the previous options the girl against Alpine trees was too similar to man against trees on opening spread. That had to be changed. Both images told the same thing, illustrated the same point and it seemed a waste, it was repetition. So I sent the editor and magazine a few images which could work as a replacement for the girl and Alpine trees pic.
And then I had to wait, to see what they thought of all my comments about the 3 Options spreads.

The black pages look striking, agree. Don`t like the jigsaw style, agree. man and woman in front of alpine background too similar agree. Would love to see that great image of the wedding parade from the trip you did a couple of years back in there. Good to see some of these images all laid out and readable.
