Continued from yesterday….So the above spreads are from what I’ll call Option 2 of the initial three spreads I was sent for comment and approval by Transit Magazine. (Buy the issue of the magazine here on Amazon.co.jp).

My thoughts on seeing this spread option were: (1) It wasn’t as attractive as the black pages I wrote about and showed in my previous post. (2) I hated the messy/ jigsaw-like layout of the images. It just looked untidy, unnattractive and distracting from the images themselves. (3) I thought the title had looked better in the spread I wrote about in my previous post. (4) and as in my previous post, the girl against Alpine landscape pic was too similar to the colour shot of the man against trees on the opening double spread.

Tomorrow, Option3 of the initial three spreads I was sent.
