Another day another spread. Ya gotta love it. It’s always nice to recieve pdf’s of page layouts through the email, you see how the art director has used, or abused, your images, how they’ve laid it out, or how they’ve cropped pics etc. Mostly I expect to be disappointed, but not today. Romanian Marie Claire magazine have used my photographs of Japanese Yakuza mom Shoko Tendo, and they’ve used them well. The full page of Shoko Tendo and her daughter looks particularly nice I thought.

From what I can see, the pics are excellent. Can’t read the text, but I don’t speak Romanian,so it probably doesn’t matter. Would love to see all of the pics.

wow, i’m actually from Romania and i just finished the book, which i liked very much, and then i googled it, and found a scan of a romanian magazine on a foreign (if i may say it like this) blog! this simply amazed me
and kinda made my day! i don’t read magazines, though i probably should read once in a while, as i see. i’m just sorry i can’t find the magazine amymore.
i like your pictures of shoko and i’d like to see them all :]…but anyway, have a nice nice day wherever you might be!
