If you’re looking for something to do this Thursday night then there is an exhibition opening for a show called ‘From Above’ by American photographer Paule Saviano, taking place at the very nice little Gallery ef in Asakusa, Tokyo. The exhibition consists of portraits of Nagasaki Atomic bomb and Tokyo air raid survivors, as shown above.

Paule Saviano had a previous exhibition at Gallery Ef, showing photographs of Burlesque dancers ( and at which there was a great performance by Tokyo burlesque dancer/ performer ‘Cherry Typhoon’, I must remember to book a dancer like her the next time I have a show opening…).

Opening reception for ‘From Above’ is Thursday 12th March, 7pm-9pm. The show runs until 12th April.

  1. Hi Jeremy:

A quick thank you for attending the exhibition and posting the information. Taken me 2 months to get my feet back to a normal pace. After leaving Tokyo for home, quickly traveled for more assignment work. I’ll be returning to Tokyo in the fall to shoot. Thank you again for taking a look. Hope your well. Take care.
