The ‘Yahoo Ramen Noodle Restaurant of the Year‘ awards have been announced ! And one of my favourite places wins an award. Fantastic.

Nick, you gotta go to Fukuoka to go to that place….it’s not my local unfortunately.
To get to the Fukuoka place was like something from a movie, me and a journo ( on a travel assignment) got in a cab and asked the driver to take us to a good ramen place. So we drive, and drive, and drive, and the bill is going up, the meter is ticking, and finally we pull up outside this kind of all night place ( in the photo), and sure enough the ramen was good, but not amazing….nice place though. Great kettles.
