A couple of weeks back I got a job from The Guardian to go to Tokyo’s Love hotel area and take some pictures to illustrate a business story (read it here) by Justin McCurry about Love Hotels. Easy enough, wander round, shoot the furtive couples and there were many of them at 4 in the afternoon on a Monday, …shoot the kitch architecture, in, out, job done.
