Thoughts of a Tokyo, Japan-based editorial corporate portrait assignments photographer

Last night I was at the Anders Petersen photo show, and very enjoyable it was too. Good photos, good company, pretty good wine, strange canapes, and even said hello to Mr. Petersen himself which was nice.

As I walked after the show I got a text message telling me to look at the full moon, and how lovely it was, but I couldn’t see it. Advertising hoardings and buildings of Omotesando obscured my view. A shame. Then I came home to an email from a friend linking to Basho’s Autumnal haiku poems….

So here we are, Saturday afternoon, it’s wet and damp outside, bit cold, melancholic atmosphere around.

As Basho wrote on Autumn…

harvest moon
northland weather
uncertain skies
