In between riding his two horses, and walking his dog, my good friend Drew managed to surf the net and find this link on a blog from an American lady owning a guest house in Morocco, and within it were links to the interesting and beautiful photographic work of Rudolf Lehnert, and some info on him.

Lehnert’s photographs are widely available to buy here in Cairo. There’s many shops selling black and white prints, framed and unframed, of a variety of his work in Egypt and other North African countries. They’re very popular with tourists and expats alike, looking very nice on your living room wall.
“Rudolf Lehnert was born in 1878 in Bohemia, then part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire”
You think he had a “Bohemian” passport? I want one….
Cheers,
Ben
