There is a guy who emails me a lot, a part-time Olive Farmer, from south eastern Italy and from time to time he tells me how much he admires the work of David Alan Harvey. Reason I post this is that although I am aware of David Alan Harvey’s work I never, truth be told, took too much notice of it. But recently I discovered his blog, well actually there are 4 blogs, and having read his loose style of writing and seeing many more of his pics I’m inclined to pay more attention now. DAHarvey shoots a lot for National Geographic (some links here, interview here, narrated slideshow here). Harvey has a great eye for colour, for images, and comes across as a man with a passion for photography, people and life. I’m sure we can all learn from not only his pictures, but also reading his blog….
