I love maps. I could sit and look at them for hours, looking at borders, cities, where I’ve been, where I want to go. I have a big blue atlas which from time to time I place red sticky dots in. But I can only put a dot if I stayed the night in the place…and after a while it’s been fascinating to see how these randomly appear, or cluster, on the pages…..
And now I have a new map to ponder over, one from the statistics of this blog. The above map shows who has been visiting recently. Not exactly global domination on my part, but enjoyable to look at all the same.
Would the person on the Equator, just below Angola, please raise his hand…..

Hiya. I do the same with maps, it is good to see where you`ve been. Hopefully I can get this message link to work this time. Thanks for the advice on reportage. Hopefully it worked and I will be able to show you some results soon.
Still enjoying the blog though i haven`t written (busy. Martin Hunter`s pics are very good aren`t they?

Maps, great things, how did we ever live without them? The above map though shows the weblog hits…the atlas and dots showing where i’ve travelled to is safely on my kitchen table….
A great place to visit some time is the Vatican Museum…they’ve some incredible old maps on show….
